About the author

Dave Shellhaas has had a  life journey that has provided him with a unique perspective.  He has been a born-again believer and science geek from an early age.  He spent 11 years teaching high school science, specifically biology.  He also served as a science curriculum specialist for 20 years.  During this time, he also served on state, science standards writing teams. 

As he progressed through his career, he has never compromised his biblical beliefs concerning creation.  His unique combination of scientific and biblical knowledge has provided him with a distinct interpretation of scientific evidence and observations from a biblical perspective.  To many people, this would be a contradiction.  Most people believe science and Christianity are not compatible.  Dave’s life has proven that you can balance both and not compromise your faith.
